It only takes a spark, a small little light to start a fire.
When we have ideas or dreams we want to chase, we are looking to others to be the spark we need to make our ideas and dreams happen. Unfortunately most of the time, people around us shut us down. They tell us about the risks, the potential for failure, things that could happen that haven’t happened to keep your idea from happening.
These people are dangerous. Whether intentional or not, they will do whatever they can to help protect you from what they are afraid to do themselves. The most dangerous are those closest to you.
When sharing your idea or dream, you will hear things you may not want to hear. Fear on all levels is the easiest emotion for us to tap into. In sharing your idea with groups of people, the effects multiple and will drastically affect how you go after your idea or dream moving forward.
Do not look to others to be the spark. Be your spark. It just takes a little bit to make your idea or dream set the world on fire.
