One’s actions do not represent all of us. America was built on the idea that anyone from anywhere can come here and create the life they want. Our ancestors and relatives struggled through wars, outbreaks, economic depressions in pursuit of freedom and happiness. They did everything they could to make ends meet, to put food on the table so that they could walk in a world standing in their ideas and beliefs without judgment and persecution.
Today, the action’s of one has limited others to pursue their dreams, the live life they way they should live without fear.
Regardless of background, religion, color, orientation, our country must come together to walk in faith. Through openness and acceptance, we will persevere, and our nation will thrive.
