I read that Wired Magazine Co-Founder Kevin Kelly has one. It’s called a death clock. It has the number of days he estimated he has left to live until he dies. He said he expects to live longer than the clock but that if the number he sees is really the amount of days, it’s a great reminder of how many things he wants to do with so little time left.
I thought about putting up a death clock just to remind myself what I have left here on earth. I’m not sure what the number would be. Maybe I over shoot it to make myself feel like I have more time to do all the things I want. Maybe I go for a lower number as a motivation for me to live out the life I want to build. Either way, I have a limited number of hours to live, to make memories, see the world, and do the best I can to be a good person and be of help to others.
If you had a clock to see how many days you had left on this earth, what would you do?
